Hello Eagle Parents,
Please review the important information outlined below.
Reenrollment reminder
The current academic term will end on Friday, May 28th, 2022. Re-enrollment for the upcoming school term has begun. Please note that BOLPA has a limited capacity, and class sizes may be smaller in the upcoming school year; therefore, if interested, please secure your scholar's space as soon as possible before we begin open enrollment on February 1st. During open enrollment, new scholars will join the eagle's nest. On February 1st, returning scholars will no longer have enrollment priority.
Vision Day
This year, Breath of Life celebrates 40 years of ministry! In honor of our visionary, Dr. Sammie Holloway, we are asking that each scholar bring $4 to be given to him in celebration of the God-given vision to bring back the bell of holiness given to our founder over 40 years ago! If you'd like to give $4 in honor 40 years, please donate by Friday, February 4th.
Popcorn Fundraiser
Don't forget, our annual Popcorn Fundraiser will begin February 1st! The fundraiser will be completed virtually; therefore, all orders will be completed online and shipped directly to the supporter's home. Because Double Good only allows fundraisers to last four days, parents will create a new virtual store each week using the event codes that we will share. The event codes will be shared each Monday via email! The scholar with the highest number of sales will receive one week of free tuition! The second-place winner will receive half off of one week's tuition! Download the Double Good app and enter the code below to set up your store.

Clubs (Senior K - 3rd Grade)
Great news, school clubs will return next month! This semester, BOLPA will offer STEM Club, Vegan Club, and Rhythm & Dance Club! Follow the link below to signup for clubs. Please note that poor academic performance and behavior may warrant denial from or dismissal from school clubs. Clubs are offered on a first-come-first-served basis, and some clubs have a smaller capacity than others. The signup deadline is Friday, January 28th, at 4:00 PM. Please await a confirmation email from the club sponsor to ensure that your scholar is on the club’s roster. The club schedule will be shared next Tuesday. When the club schedule is shared, we encourage you to add it to your calendar.
Black History Month
Parents, we are excited about Black History Month! Each Monday and Friday for the month of February, scholars will have the opportunity to be out of uniform! Please review our calendar to see how your scholar should dress on Mondays and Fridays. If your scholar does not dress in accordance with the theme of the day, they must come in full uniform. This year, we will have our Black History Art Auction again, and scholars in Junior K through 3rd Grade will create art projects that represent different stages of Black History! The three art pieces that receive the highest bids will receive special prizes! All creations are due by February 17th. Parents, if you'd like to support our auction by donating goods or services to be auctioned, please email support@bol.academy for more information. The K2 and K3 classes will be creating Black History Art at school. They will learn the importance of telling a story and expressing themselves through art. Details about our Black History Program are coming soon! Parents, thank you for making last year's Black History Auction an incredible success!

Carline Reminders
As a reminder, please keep your window lowered while in the carline during dismissal so that we may easily and quickly identify you. Also, please remember to stay in line and not park to get your scholar. When picking up before 4:00 PM, please contact us via phone for assistance. When dropping off your scholar, please park if you must get them ready for the day, then get in line.
Dismissal (Senior K - 3rd)
Parents, when picking up after 4:45 PM, the flat rate of $15.00 is void, and your account will be charged by the minute. Also, please be reminded that when checking out your scholar early, you are asked to submit a written notice prior. Furthermore, you must arrive by 3:30 PM. At 3:31, you will be asked to wait until 4:00 PM to pick up your scholar. Again, 3:30 PM is the cutoff for early dismissal for elementary scholars.
